I have been working professionally with animals for almost 10 years. I started out at a boarding and daycare facility as a kennel tech and worked my way up to an assistant management position. I wore many hats there, from daycare attendant to dog bather, but my favorite was working in boarding. It was a huge responsibility caring for these pets while their owners were out of town, but it was a very rewarding experience. 

I started my grooming career about 5 years ago, under the apprenticeship of the owner of the shop I worked at. I have also learned from many different co-workers throughout the years as well as videos, classes, and tutorials from groomers online. I can groom all types of dogs and even work with the misfits. I have an extra soft spot for senior dogs too, and take extra measures to ensure their comfort and safety. The types of grooms I excel in are desheds, outline trims and shape ups. If you've got a Golden Retriever or Shepherd, I'm your girl! My grooming skills are constantly improving as I am always trying to learn more ways to refine my craft. I love trying new products and techniques. This side of my career lets me be creative and I love that! 

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my own dog, Cubbie, my sidekick for the last 15 years. He inspired me to learn how to do haircuts since I've always had him shaved. I also have two more dogs and two cats at home. I live right here in Carleton and absolutely love this little Village! 

For as long as I can remember, I have always been passionate about animals. Aside from having pets my whole life, I come from a large family of animal lovers. It seems I have always been surrounded by furry friends and enjoyed caring for them even at a young age. Speaking of family, mine is amazing. I try to spend as much time as possible with my loved ones!  

My favorite extracurricular activity is traveling. I usually always have some kind of trip planned. These travels typically go hand in hand with a concert, my second favorite activity. My husband is the best traveling buddy and we are always looking forward to our next adventure! I am also an avid reader, coffee lover, and popcorn devotee. 

Grooming Services:

Nail Trims: $15 and up (includes paw pad shave if needed)

Ear Cleaning: $5 and up

Brushing: 15 Minutes for $20

Baths: $45 and up (include deshed treatment if needed)

Trims & Haircuts: $60 and up 

*Price depends on size, difficulty, and condition/severity of coat. Additional rates may apply & prices are subject to change.

Mobile services available - I can come to you! Transportation to and from the shop is available if needed. I can also provide my al la carte grooming services in your home. This includes everything but the bath and haircut. 

Prices may vary by difficulty and distance driven.

Other services offered:

Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking - If you need your pet let out or fed while you're busy, or if you need help getting your dog some exercise. 

15-30 mins for $25, $5 per additional dog

Overnight Care - Your pet is cared for overnight in your home while you're away. 

$60 a night $5 per additional dog

*A daycare fee may be applied depending on hours needed during the day. 

Pet Photography - Professional quality images of you and your pet in the studio or at a location of your choice (you & other family members can join too!) 

$50-$150, includes a half hour photo session with at least ten edited downloadable images.
